Saucony
Founded in Saucony (pronounced sock-a-knee) Creek in 1898, Saucony was created with a focus on running. In 1960, Hyde Athletic Industries, a shoe company well-known for making athletic footwear such as SpotBilt and PF Flyers, bought Saucony and moved it to Cambridge. Since then, Saucony represents the Creek's constant flow and boulders lining the creek bed. Later in 2012, Saucony was obtained by Wolverine World Wide along with Keds, Stride Rite and Sperry Top-Sider.
