Sneaker Politics, a premier clothing & sneaker boutique from Louisiana takes on the storied GEL-KAYANO™ 14 by ASICS. Inspired by the original GEL-KAYANO™ designed in 2008 by Toshikazu Kayano, the 14th iteration uses slicker materials and componentry.  

The Politics’ version’s gold-cream-red colourway references Nancy Reagan’s ‘Just Say No’ campaign from the ‘80s aimed at tackling drug abuse.  Arguably the hottest shoe in the game, the Politics’ rendition of the GEL-KAYANO™️ 14 embraces a familiar blend of white mesh with “mixed metal” gold and silver overlays. 

Hits of red on the heel and tongue bring a vibrant edge, and the aged midsole—featuring visible red GEL units—ties it all together with a nostalgic finish.
